Freedom Begins Here is a movement to deal with the epidemic of pornography and sexuality in our culture. You either struggle with it or you're affected by someone who does. It's time to do something about it.
About Me:
• 12 to 17 year olds are the largest consumers of Internet pornography.
• The porn industry is larger than all of the top technology companies combined: Microsoft, Google, Apple, eBay, Yahoo, Amazon, Earthlink, and Netflix
• 50% of Christian men and 20% of Christian women are addicted to porn. It is time we stop ignoring it.

IT'S NO LONGER ABOUT THEM. IT'S ABOUT US.
What do we mean by that?
Statistics are black and white. Just numbers and percentages. But, in the case of the 50 percent of Christian guys and 20 percent of Christian girls struggling with pornography, that means its people we know. People we love. People we care about. In our youth group. Our Facebook friends. Even leaders in our church.
Its also brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters.
It really is about us.
Freedom Begins Here was created in response to the countless emails and phone calls from pastors and individuals looking for resources to really help with the problem. Not just another book to read or a twelve-step program. Not a band-aid to cover the wound or a pill to mask the pain. We need to begin to shine the light of truth on the darkness by honestly talking about the problem, admitting our weaknesses and failings, and walk together in ruthless accountability.
THE MOVEMENT
FREEDOMBEGINSHERE is challenging everyone to join a bold movement to break the epidemic of pornography addiction. You may not be struggling, but you know someone who is.

Yo the UMD incident is a freedom of speech issue. Most people that wanted to see the porn were simply doing so as a joke.

Hey guys. I'm looking forward to when I get to go to the concert in Moon Township, PA. Maybe I'll meet one of you guys. I know my mom will. She's CE director and she is one of the adults in the youth group.
