"Since the very first instant I got my hands on a guitar, I've been fascinated forever not just from musical and technical virtuosisms (that so much guitar players give chase)... rather from the emotions they rise into myself with their perfection and hardness of execution..."

I play guitar from age of 14, when I bought my first electric guitar and attended musical lessons with great maestro Corrado Paonessa.

During next years - from 14 to 24 - I've played and studied guitar many many hours per day, until I ended my universitary studies taking a "Laurea in Informatica" and I started to work full time...

In the meanwhile, I played with numerous friends and bands, approaching different musical genres from hard rock to heavy metal, from hardcore-punk to thrash metal and so on.

In the end of '90s, thanx to powerful personal computers, I started my soloist career, producing all alone a 6-tracks cd digital demo in the late year 2000.

Nowadays, with very little time at my disposition, as I can, I play classical, acoustic or electric guitar for my pure personal taste of doing that... to make my fingers happy when they touch the neck and hit the strings to produce sounds...

Furthermore, this new century saw me more focused on progressive rock, jazz and fusion and while I constantly look forward at new styles (like nu-metal for example) also I'm researching, every day much more, for big masterpieces of the past ('70s, '80s and '90s).

Last night I've seen John McLaughlin in concert at Stazione Birra, Rome. A spectacular live performance, more than two hours without breaks, from a man (or a guitar-god?) that's 66 years old. Incredible, and I was there.

John McLaughlin performed with The 4th Dimension:

Gary Husband (keyboards and drums)
Mark Mondesir (drums)
Dominique Di Piazza (bass) replaced an injured Hadrien Feraud

I've decided to produce videos (as I got time to do so) with very different recording techniques.

The first, that's also the simpliest, is to record the audio part directly with the videocamera mic. Probably this approach lead to the worst overall rec quality, but it gives also "a more live" performance.

Another choice is to rec the audio with my personal computer while retaining only the video track from camera. This method allows the making of a dub with very high audio quality (no hiss, no background noise, good mixing of sounds).

More, if I add synth audio parts or I choose to use speakers for some sounds and amplifier for guitar sounds or I play acoustic unplugged instruments and so on, you can imagine the endless combinations at my disposition.

So, stay tuned and enjoy my (video) music !!!
