As with most things, saying it on the Internet doesn't necessarily make it true. The only Ku-band radar unit ever to appear in this country left in 1990. You can read more about the Ku band myth by doing this Google search: Ku band AND radartest

1) Mounting height has zero effect on range but it does reduce the detector's ability to spot lasers. 2) All current-production X50s have TSR and are Escort Live-compliant. 3) No RX65 has Ka band segmentation. Other than these minor anomalies, you're 100 percent correct.

TSR slows signal processing dramatically, so leave it on only if you want to make certain the detector will miss short K-band bursts.
