IIHS Top Safety Picks Ford 16, Chrysler 0

JD Power Initial Quality and Longterm Durability Ford Above Average, Chrysler Below Average

Consumer Reports Ford Quality Above Average, Chrysler Below Average

Consumer Reports says "Ford is now tied with Honda and Toyota in terms of quality" while "Chrysler quality continues to deteriorate".

Great Job Ford! Keep it going and don't end up like Chrysler with a self inflicted ruined reputation from screwing over so many customers.

Yeah, I'm a firm believer in Ford, my family members have long bought Ford vehicles. However, I think the common rear wishbone in the Mustang is garbage. I'd like to see fully independent suspension in it, at least as an add on.

I am glad to see this. I know that Ford is different from the cross town dolts, GM and Chrysler, and I hope that the public can see the same. Alan Mulally is a good CEO who knows what he is doing, and I believe in the future of Ford mainly because while the cross town dolts at GM have just kept doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome, Mulally has aggressively attacked the internal bureaucracies and has focused Ford on one thing and one thing only: Making great products that people want to buy. I am also glad that Mulally has decided to put Ford's pride on the shelf and instead downsized them to fit their 20% marketshare. I believe in Ford, and I hope the public can distance Ford from the dolts at GM and understand that things in Dearborn are different. Ford is actually changing drastically and is well on the way of a turnaround.
