Bruce has mastered cutting with both his left and right hand with multiple scissors. In 1993 he developed the dry hair sculpting technique Flyingshears. Since then, besides the press, his technique had been featured by Fox Channel, BBC TV London, and TV shows on Romania, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan & China.
In 2002, he was awarded Guinness World Record for using the most scissors simultaineously.
