Fish for the Future is an annual community festival in Steveston, British Columbia, Canada. The event first began in 2003 and takes place during the National Fishing week.
The idea is to generate educated anglers, who will become stewards of our resource and ensure sustainability.
Beside offering free fishing for kids under the age of 16 during the event, we invite stewardship groups across the Lower Mainland to showcase their ongoing conservation projects and programs that the public can be involved in.
