Hajibaba Hasanov (Azerbaijani: Hacıbaba Həsənov) (1922 - 1997) was an Azerbaijani composer, pianist and kamancha player. He composed a lot of songs for famous azerbaijani singers such as Rashid Behbudov, Rubaba Muradova, Abulfat Aliyev, Sara Gadimova, Aygun Bayramova, Elmira Rahimova, Gulaga Mammadov, Yashar Safarov, Shovket Alakbarova and etc. Some of his songs were used in movies.
He also composed 2 musical comedies: Sheyx Rehmetulla and Boyagchi Kerim,
In total he has about 300 songs and 2 suites.
Hajibaba Hasanov also was a psychotherapists and a psychology professor at the University (less info)
