Dave Allen was GREAT!

Hey thanks for the Dave Allen video's, one of the best.

He WAS good but Benny Hill had even more balls than this guy did..he was not afraid of ANYONE being offended, kind of like George Carlin, Frank Zappa, and even John Lennon, though he made light of the human condition in a different forum. They were all ARTISTS and they realised that anyone who could not appreciate their views had the freedom to simply..not LISTEN! Frank Zappa said it best.."You are not worthy of attention unless people can make a joke about you, because if you raise hell about it TOO much people are going to think you want to change THEM". "And THAT goes against the tenets of basic freedom".

THis is my first exposure to Dave Allen...what a really great storyteller...thanks for getting these vids together..

Have thoroughly enjoyed your Dave Allen collection. Brought back many happy memories, not only of watching the tv shows, but seeing him live on stage in the early 90's. I remember I had been laughing so hard, my glasses had completely misted over and I had to be helped down the stairs to get out of the theatre because I couldn't see where I was going.
