arte totale

L'arte mi ha quasi sempre preceduto nella vita.
Mi sembrava di essere re Mida.
Ogni cosa che facevo, che indossavo, cessava di avere una funzione pratica per diventare artistica.
Me ne sono accorto da poco tempo.
All'inizio vivevo questo fatto come una condanna, poi ho cominciato a sfruttarlo per fare arte.
La vedo dappertutto, ma non mi disturba più come prima.
Mi sono diplomato al conservatorio a ventiquattro anni.
Dieci anni passati sul pianoforte senza mai divertirmi veramente.
Da allora non ho più voluto saperne di suonare quella roba.
Ma soprattutto di suonare a quel modo, con quel sistema.
Dopo il diploma mi sono messo a praticare le arti marziali giapponesi e cinesi (intanto per restare in tema di arte).
Almeno mi muovevo con tutto il corpo.
Qui è nata la mia passione per la gestualità.
Ho iniziato a dipingere da autodidatta.
Ora sono più di venti anni che dipingo.
Però non ho potuto non sperimentare anche altri canali.
Così ho imparato a costruire e suonare il didjeridoo (grazie anche a Moreno Papi e a Paride Russo) e mi sono improvvisato costruttore e suonatore di shakuhachi (flauto di bambù tradizionale giapponese).
Mi sono divertito a costruire boomerang (quasi un'ossessione: ne ho costruiti circa cinquecento).
Ogni tanto faccio della scultura. Uso quasi sempre legno.
Tutto quanto ho appena elencato è il mio lavoro da diversi anni.
Cerco di fare di tutto, non scarto quasi nulla.
Voglio imparare da tutto.
Ho fatto tanti lavori prima di stabilizzarmi sull'arte visiva.
Ho lavorato anche in un istituto geriatrico per un anno.
E mi sono ritrovato a contemplare gli escrementi che mi capitava di dover toccare (coi guanti); anche lì ci vedevo un nonsochè di creativo, nella consistenza, nel colore mah..
L'anno che seguiva l'ho passato a dipingere quadri usando solo il marrone...il mio periodo marrone.
L'arte è totale.

the total art

The art has almost always preceded me, in my life.
I seemed King Mida
(King Mida, touching the things, it turned all into gold. At the end, also the food had become of gold and he could not eat it)
Every thing that I did, that I wore, stopped having a practical function to become artistic.
To the beginning I felt this fact as a sentence, then I have started to exploit to make the art.
I see the art everywhere, but it doesn't disturb as before.
I have graduated at the conservatory at twenty-four years .
Ten years passed on the piano without never having a good time me really.
After the diploma, I have started practicing the arts martial Japanese and Chinese (meanwhile to stay in theme of art).
At least I moved me with the whole body.
Here my passion was born for the Creative gesture.
I have begun to paint from autodidactic.
Is more than twenty years that I make painting art.
However I have not been able not to also experiment other channels.
This way I have learned to build and to play the didjeridoo (thanks also to Moreno Papi and Paride Russo) and I am impromptu me builder and performer of shakuhachi (flute of Japanese traditional bamboo) .
I had a good time to building boomerang (almost an obsession: I have built around five hundred of it).
Sometimes, I make sculpture.
Use almost always the wood.
Everything how much I have listed, it was my job for different years.
I try to try everything, I don't discard almost anything.
I want to learn from everything.
