During 2002, I rode my motorcycle through all 159 counties in the state of Georgia. Just as your videos show, it is amazing how diverse and beautiful Ga's landscape is. That was a great idea of "30 parks in 30 days".
Sincerely,
Brian P. Roslund
We stay at General Coffee every summer. Our oldest son participates in an archaeology dig close by and the state park is the best deal around. The cabins are great and the staff is super friendly. Last year we saw alligators due to the drought. It's still the highlight of our visits but our resident raccoon comes in a close second.
Thanks for this series and please continue to put up new videos, it encourages me to spend more time at our parks. We only have ourselves to blame for the upcoming cuts, I wish we could come up with a solution to keep them all open.
Keep up the great work
Of all the state parks we've visited (which isn't many), I think our favorite is Sprewell Falls down by Thomaston....it's very pretty and very remote - not a lot of folks there. The river is beautiful there. And Warm Springs / FDR park is nearby as well.
We have spent a majority of our park time up in the N. GA Mtn. area parks, as well as the Coastal parks. I have enjoyed seeing the other areas, in btw.!
Looking forward to seeing Providence Canyon if you go...thanks!
