In regards to locating your main relay, check to the left of the under-dash fuse box, that's where mines is, I have a 1988 Honda prelude

P.S. Sorry for intruding, but thought I could help.

Some Honda's have the relay burred up under the dash but I believe that is where it is located in your car. If you don't have a check engine light "hooking the car up to the machine" won't tell you a whole lot with a no start. As for the soldering, that is something few people know about, very few. You may need to remove the lower dash cover to gain access to the relay, try removing it and take another look.

No problem, I'll just swing by this afternoon. Seriously, you can replace the relay with little effort, you don't need to take the entire thing out but rather just pry out the innards and swap them out.
