Ernst Stolz performs a wide gamut of early music by himself or in collaboration with guests on this channel.

Ernst Stolz is a professional music teacher/ educator and music performer in the Netherlands.
"With the many pupils in my studio, I can't really focus on a concert career that much. For me this is an ideal way, of still being able to present myself for a more extensive audience.
In my studio I mostly teach the piano, but my great passion is the early music. I hope to bring this to the attention, for a public, which is not always familiar with this type of music.
I am glad, so many people show their appreciation. Thank you!
I would like to ask, not to mail me for copies of the music I play, sometimes I add a link myself!
I hope you enjoy my choice of music, but any suggestions are quite welcome!"
About Me:

Ernst Stolz is a musician and music teacher in the Netherlands. He studied several main instruments. Harpsichord with Bob van Asperen, Piano with Sumiko Nagaoka and Stanley Hoogland (fortepiano), singing, recorder, schoolmusic and choir conducting. Among his viola da gamba teachers: Freek Borstlap, a fine Dutch gambist and also Wieland Kuijken and others.

Although I teach all kinds and styles of music and can play modern styles on piano, my real passion is making music from the past; 4 till 2 centuries ago for example.
I like to make some study of the music I play and am interested in history.
On this page, I present some of my music.
The works by Dutch composers are placed in a series: "Monumenta Musica Neerlandica".
Also works by composers from other parts of Europe are to be found.
(I record and produce my own video's
and recordings.)
