Hello and welcome, my name is Ernst Stolz.
I am a professional music teacher and music performer in the Netherlands.
On this YouTube channel (thank you YouTube!), I present to you my recordings of Dutch and other European baroque and renaissance music, played on harpsichord, clavichord and viola da gamba and some pieces on recorder. I sometimes play with guest-performers, but I also like doing multi track recordings all played by myself, although this is quite a demanding technique.
I'm glad to have the opportunity, to present my playing for a more extensive audience this way. Besides my intensive teaching-practice, it is a wonderful way to keep practising and developing myself.
You also can contact me via my website. I hope you enjoy my choice of music, but any suggestions are quite welcome!
Ernst Stolz is a musician and music teacher in the Netherlands. He studied several main instruments. Harpsichord with Bob van Asperen, Piano with Sumiko Nagaoka and Stanley Hoogland (fortepiano), singing, recorder, schoolmusic and choir conducting. Among his viola da gamba teachers: Freek Borstlap, a fine Dutch gambist.

"Although I teach all kinds and styles of music and can play modern styles on piano, my real passion is making music from the past; 4 till 2 centuries ago for example.
I like to make some study of the music I play and am interested in history.
On this page, I present some of my music.
The works by Dutch composers are placed in a series: "Monumenta Musica Neerlandica".
Also works by composers from other parts of Europe are to be found.
I record and produce my own video's
and recordings.
Feel free, to give (some) comment!"

hoi Ernst, als jij is tijd zou hebben, kun je dan misschien is iets van Louis Couperin uploaden, want hij is een componist, die zeer onderscht wordt, vind ik ;)
