The tornadoes that went through our region in early February led to some major media coverage of my inventions in the Courier-Journal and WPSD TV as an alternative to the current and ineffective warning sirens.

I see you had quite an ice storm! We had a bad one here in Paducah last week that shut the college down for the better part of three days! There were trees and power lines down everywhere and much of the city of Metropolis was without power! We are having a second ice storm today. The college finally closed this morning at 8:20-after Tom, Tammy, Dan and myself had already arrived!

Glad to see you have a video page at Youtube. Please visit mine. I finally have a video of my whistle test up and running. I've gotten quite a few hits in a short time. I go by "acoustics101". I also host a Youtube video group all about steam and air whistles. You can get to it from my page. I currently have 14 members. All of this is quite recent.
