The year was "1975," and the greatest Rock and Roll musician of all time was in his prime. It just wasn't fair to all the great competition of that day. Afterall, it was not the 1990s or 00s, it was "1975," the greatest year ever in music history. Elton John had already scored three number one hits, and what would later turn out to be a record "five consecutive number one albums." And now, his fourth chart topping single with "Philadelphia Freedom." It was surreal, and at times, "quite fictional." We were all addicted to our pocket radios. I suppose it was a drug of some sort. None of us had any control over our lives.
