Feeling unsatisfied by the end of his relationship with girl-of-his-dreams Amy, teenage wannabe film-maker Daniel is plunged into a borderline catatonic state. Following the advice of his long-suffering best friend Anthony, Daniel attempts to write a concluding scene between himself and Amy so that he can gain some much needed closure. Rejected in reality, fulfilled by fiction - 'REWRITES'.

I wrote 'REWRITES' in early October 2012 and continuously revised it in the following months before I began filming in January 2013 with some very talented actors I picked up in school. Although I finished filming in late February, it's taken a long time to complete the project as I was waiting on music and struggling with editing. I've been using the same camera since 'Dateless Losers' back in Spring 2010 and my films have improved exponentially since then, but I believe I hit a technological block during 'REWRITES' as clearly seen by the two grainy-as-all-hell scenes towards the end and the less-than-stellar audio throughout. I think the film is good enough for you to get the general idea of what I was trying to do, so please be forgiving!
