echobass is a production team and musican's collective formed by writer / producer Simon Woodgate in 1989.

Based in Sussex, echobass have produced hits around the world, with No.1s all across S.E. Asia with artists as diverse as Coco Lee, LeeHom Wang and Leon Lai. In the UK they are best known for children's pop, with hit songs by Bob the builder, the Tweenies, Steps and most recently the new Postman Pat TV series on BBC1 /Disney/HBO. They signed to Sony/ATV music publishing in 1997 and BBC Worldwide in 2001. Along the way there have been colaborations with many outstanding musicans, including Pete Spring, Aubrey Hollobon, Rob Reed, Rupert Cobb and Peter Van Hooke. echobass have also been responsible for many TV show theme tunes, including FIFA:Fever, FIFA Futbol Mundial, Goals and Gaffs and P1 Grand Prix.
