hey! my name is zascha, my mom was born and raised in scotland. i've seen you perform twice. once in dunkeld, and once in colorado many years ago. my mom actually is friends with your mom! haha! but i'm writing to you to say thank you for writing your music...your songs have got me to where i am today, and helped form who i am. they inspired me to keep going, and cherish the things in life that truly matter. i hope i'll see you perform again someday. thank you again.

I never tire of hearing your music, and I recall my visit to Dunkeld with joy--I was there in 2004. You weren't there, though I visited your shop. I wished so hard to have had a chance to meet you all...one day, perhaps?

I played the Moothie on Sheena Wellington's Album recorded at your place at Butterstone, and did a few 'Birnam Institues' with you !... Hamish Moore was there too, at Birnam. My earliest memories of music are of Turning Away and the whole Perthshire Amber album. It carries the heart and soul of the old Celtic Isles, so many thanks, Dougie!
