To the question "how long I have been playing flamenco?" I will tell you that 6 years ago I could not tell the difference between an Alegrias and a Bulerias or that something called "Compas" even exists. So the point is, with hard work most guitar players can achieve a decent flamenco sound providing they have a strong sense of rhythm. Now whether you can deliver the emotion of flamenco is a whole other story... good luck!
