I love making movies, but I had the most fun making these; being an old diehard

The hidden refuge of Elrond Halfelven, founded by Elrond in the Second Age against the assaults of Sauron in Eriador. It lay in a deep valley in the western foothills of the Misty Mountains, and endured, under the protection of Elrond's Ring Vilya, until the War of the Ring and beyond. After the War, the Ring's power ended and Elrond passed over the Sea, but Rivendell itself remained, at least for a time, in the keeping of Elrond's sons Elladan and Elrohir.

J.R.R. Tolkien writes: "Such was the virtue of the land of Rivendell that soon all fear and anxiety was lifted from their minds. The future, good or ill, was not forgotten, but ceased to have any power over the present. Health and hope grew strong in them, and they were content with each good day as it came, taking pleasure in every meal, and in every word and song" (The Fellowship of the Ring, 287).

This is our quest! A home, an anointed peace and a ministry to those who serve the needy, even unto the world.

Fallow us along as we endure the dark side to see the fulfillment of this vision in the world of the skeptical, pessimistic, dreamless, hopeless, down-trodden, and ultimately vision-less witnesses of the construction of our Noah's ark.

It's amazing to see how many people around us are so negative when seeing this project. And yet, when we compare the life's challenges that make us who we are, few are willing to jump into the fire for a new refinement.

We have been given a vision, a dream, mission and hope for our future against all odds, including the signs of our times, the helpless situation of people losing their futures due to government spending, job-loss, and hopeless regard to having no voice, hope or salvation.

May our Father and His Son show that there is reason to prevail.
