Perhaps you could start by, well, spelling some words correctly. But for the most part, yes, I do agree with you that it is a PDL team and goals can be over-celebrated. However, it does show strong team support and connections between the players (but this can channel a reverse effect when things turn bad).

I can see where you're coming from and you make a good point about celebrating discretely and I agree with you for the most part.

Also, I can see how the video may come across otherwise and I respect your opinion. I feel the celebrations are for the fans more than they are a reflection of the players "cockiness". You see, I was at the game that night, they had the biggest crowd in the stands this season so far, and I think the players were just trying to get the fans excited and involved so that they would come to more games.

One may argue that they over-celebrate on occasion, but it all boils down to one thing: spreading the love for the game. That's a difficult thing to do in America where a lot of people find soccer to be "boring" and they don't understand the significance of a goal in the game. On that note, not celebrating a goal will only foster their preconceptions of the sport. One could also argue that celebrating - or the lack there of- like the goal was supposed to happen is just as cocky as doing somersaults. It's certainly not as fun to watch.

For those who aren't as familiar or passionate about soccer, celebrations make watching the more exciting and enjoyable. I don't think it was the players' intent to come across as cocky. It's unfortunate that their celebrations may be misinterpreted.

I may be biased as well, I've had the pleasure of getting to know the lads and the organization. It's been my experience that, as a whole, they're actually very humble and down-to-earth. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder.

I'm not gonna lie, the Menace are really good...and maybe I am alittle bias because the Demize is my Home team...but you're boys are WAY to cocky. I mean, celebrating over a couple goals...I think it was 7 to one...every goal was over-celebrated. You don't do cart-wheels after a goal...maybe in the World Cup...but NOT in the PDL league. Scouts aren't looking for show-boats.
THe Best way to celebrate a goal is by acting like it is normal and happens ALL the time.
