In 1996, Prof George Vithoulkas was awarded the Alternative Nobel Prize (The Right Livelihood Award) for his work in the field of Homeopathy. The well-known Encyclopedia Papyros-Larousse-Britannica describes George Vithoulkas as "a leading Homeopath and one of the most famous reformists of the science of Homeopathy during the 20th century. He has written numerous important books on Homeopathy addressed both to patients and health profesionals (like Materia Medica Viva, and The Science of Homeopathy, etc). He is currently teaching Homeopathy at Alonissos and his well know Homeopathy courses run on many countries.
