Hi everyone, my name is Sarah Thawer. I am a 16yr old female drummer and I play all sorts of hand drums (djembes, tabla, dholaks, ghatam/Udu pot, bhangra dhol, djembes, congoas/bongos) and I play the drumset. Also, I am self taught. I would love to be able to get a message to Nori that I hope my 8 yr old ends up like her - not as a guitar player or an artist - but as someone who has a passion and nurtures it the way Nori did and does.

Kids seem to learn the things we don't want them to learn from their parents (whistles innocently) - so it's up to the parents to point them at the people we DO want them to learn from.
