Ziggy and Maggie were outside my apartment a few months ago. My hispanic neighbor who could hardly speak english had her cousin(I think) visiting and he had these puppies. He told me that they needed a home and he didn't know what to do with them. I had been wanting a puppy for a really long time and I felt like it made sense for me to take them in. My friend Tom agreed to keep Maggie (the one with the darker face) and I was to keep Ziggy. They hadn't been to a vet yet in their life and they were already 11 months old. We took them there as soon as we could and we found out they had parvo. Maggie survived and is HUGE now and still growing. Ziggy didn't make it. I made this is for her:

i was actually hit by a car. i was running the other day and i got detroyed by an SUV. i broke her headlight and screwed up her car but i somehow left with only a broken bone on my hand, which is being healed by a cast that i can take off when needed. my entire right side was pretty banged up but my leg and hip are the areas where the most pain was. I pretty much am not in pain anymore. I am walking more each day and hopefully i'll be able to run around again soon.

this experience has put a crazy perspective on life for me and has changed how i view the world. i am living more in the moment than i ever have before. everyday is a joy just to be alive. im so excited for what is in store for me in the future. i couldve died the other day and i didnt. i hardly even got hurt. i am so thankful for whatever God there is out there and am ambitious for what it has in store for me.
