I just found out from Bob Haley, a railfan in Orlando and frequent Folkston visitor the following: I just read that Cookie Williams died. He pushed for the train watching platform in Folkston. A story about him in the Folkston newspaper can be found at this link:

Hey man if you ever had a a chance to take a road trip, come to Illinois around Champaign and surrounding areas...there is a lot of cool stuff to see here...CSX comes through my hometown of Danville which was back in the day the Louisville & Nashville railroad that comes through Danville and on down south into Indiana to terre haute and even Evansville.  I think your videos are great...so if you ever had a chance to take a road trip, I recomend Illinois cause most of the major railroads (except for Kansas City Southern I think) come through Illinois
