Hi! Your "Female Praying Mantis Eats Male After Mating" video is excellent. Thanks for posting. I was astounded to read in a book that the female praying mantis bites the male's head off during mating and am even more awed now, after watching your video, to find that it's true!

Wow! Egad.!That's how I describe the video that you submitted on YouTube, showing a female praying mantis devouring a male during sex. Do you have any more videos of female mantises cannibalizing their ill-fated "husbands"? I'm sure a lot of women would love the idea if we men "gave ourselves up as high protein meals" for the sake of the children! :)
