Indonesia's biggest student basketball competition, DetEksi Basketball League (DBL), have assembled an All-Star Team to participate in DBL Western Australia Games 2008.
The team, consisted of 24 players (12 boys and 12 girls) plus four coaches has learned and played in Perth, Western Australia, on 13-19 October 2008.
The program is a collaboration between DBL and Australia government.
The DBL All-Star Team consists of the best players from Honda DBL 2008 season, from ten provinces in Indonesia.
They are chosen not only by their performance on the court, but also by their performance in school.
In Perth, the DBL All-Star Team followed an exciting program. They played against several Western Australia's youth teams, attended professional basketball games, and participated in training sessions with professional clubs and coaches. (less info)
