Desiree' Apolonio Bassett, born on 9-11-92, grew up listening to classic rock & Reba McEntire. Desiree' started playing guitar at age 3 and played her first gig at age 8.There's been no looking back.Age 10 Des was writing her own material,at 12 she was named musician of the year by Talent America. At 13 Des played lead guitar with Living Colour. When she was 14 she played with Kal David and guys from the Allman Brothers and was featured in Guitar Player mag..At age 15 she had enough original material and experience to begin recording for her first CD,Desi also played lead guitar for Sammy Hagar at the MGM at 15. Age 16 the Cd was released and work began on the next CD.At age 17,Desiree' jammed with Ted Nugent and Uli Jon Rothand headlined a guitar festival in New Zealnd & is ready to unveil her 3rd CD of all original material .
18 has come and gone, having seen Desiree' tour with the Boston Legends,touredFlorda , played guitar with Dickey Betts and being selected as the lead guitarist for the Michael Jackson Immortal world tour 2011-2012.
Desiree' is a member of ASCAP and the AFM, also she is sponsored in part by D'adarrio/Planet Waves,Still River guitars and Big Bends Guitar products .
