The Desi Desciples is a Hip-Hop group formed by two brothers, Iqbal (Barz) and Gais (Lion G) Chowdhury.
They are muslim Bengali-Americans from The Kensington section of Brooklyn, New York, currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. Their main goal is to make all Desi Hip-Hop to be heard, and to become one of the best hip-hop groups in Atlanta. Influenced mostly by, Biggie Smalls, Tupac and Big Pun, they have a wide variety of different styles and flow. Lion G at a young age of 12 started producing music back in 2007. But currently he's a singer and producer influenced by Atif Aslam and Scott Stortch and Boi 1 Da. Barz rapped at a young age of 10 started rapping in the booth at age 13 back in 2007. Their rap group Young Thugz ENT consists of over 13 members now affiliates with Master Piece, Epic Pulse, and Hood Stars are now collaborating and spreading their own style and music to the Hip-Hop game.
