Bill Johnson is a journalist who graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1979. He worked mostly in New Mexico but early in his career he was a VISTA volunteer and as such co-edited the Tenderloin Times in San Francisco (1980-81). He also owned and operated the Desert Journal weekly newspaper in Truth or Consequences from September 1995 to May 2003 and he still operates his website, www.desertjournalonline.com, and operates and/or maintains several channels on YouTube, one as a YouTube Partner - 1000You2b0001 to assist in bringing about the True Revolution of the 21st Century. From 1997 to 2003 Bill Johnson and his small Desert Journal staff of his wife Teresa Johnson, Photojournalis David G. Pierre and News Reporter Fred Mramor won a total of 34 awards for journalism excellence from the New Mexico Press Association's Better Newspaper Contests.
