I did know Rodel also and went on the campaign trail for Pres. FVR back in 1992 and we were usually paired for the events and we also did a few other various concerts back in the early 90's. We sure miss him and his exceptional talent but he is in a great place now and truly his contribution to the music industry will always linger. Sincerely, JoAnne L.

Little by little at this time , I am beginning to recall the songs that Rodel loved to sing: Bridge over troubled water, Didn't we, McArthur's Park, Di na natuto, Lean on me, One in a million you, Kay ganda ng ating musika at Ganyan kita kamahal, some of the songs that I can remember. There are some Motown songs. Sorry I just can't name it one by one.

I' m happy I came across this website. I'm Art Saranglao and I was one of the closest friend of Rodel when he was living here in Los Angeles. I worked with him as a keyboard player at the Bayanihan Restaurant in the early eighties. We were in the entertainment team together with Norma Ledesma, Ric Arellano, Carina Afable, Milo Castelo and Rudy Regalado. I taught Rodel the song "The greatest love of all" many years ago before it became a hit by Whitney Houston. I remember him and the late Toti Fuentes provided the music at my wedding in 1983. Truly, I missed Rodel and his musical ability. He was fun to work with, had a teachable heart and always had a positive approach for challenges.
