As the 2008 general election campaign heats up, the official ONE News YouTube Election Debate, between Helen Clark and John Key, will be broadcast live on TV ONE on Tuesday, October 14th.

Unlike previous debates in which the host asks all the questions, this year we want the leaders to face YOUR questions.

The ONE News YouTube Election Debate is your chance to ask Helen Clark and John Key about the issues that matter to you.

All you have to do is create a short video (no more than 30 seconds) and submit it here.

The best questions uploaded to this site will be broadcast live during the debate and the leaders will have to answer them.

This event will be history in the making. So go on New Zealand, be seen and be heard.

National got in, we're fucked. If Labour got in again, we would be fucked. And if a small party got to be PM? Fucked.

Interesting results today from the Otago University Political Studies Department who have been tracking the media coverage.

Most media coverage went the way of Labour with 37% and National 35%.

Most negative media coverage had National as the winner with Labour second.

So, I am not sure how 3mmmz can claim a biased media coverage when it clearly shows Labour came out on top on both counts.

If anything it points to the fact that National ran the cleaner campaign and built trust.

chur couzz! John Key is moving Nats to Centrist ground -very wise move! ACT can pee off and dont expect to sell Assets to ur Roundtable buddys or Key will go to Maori Party

Helen Clark has moved NZ nowhere, the crime rate has gone up, the unemployment rate has gone up, everything bad has gone up. John Key hopefully will bring a change, but it will be a hard time 'picking up Helen's shit'.

Its a shame to see Helen go...She has been one of the best PM's this country has had. But this is a democracy and its a natural cycle that the other party will get a go. I hope the Nats do well and like John Key 'help all new zealanders' not just the typical higher paid kiwis. It's now going to be interesting to see how they will go.
