I just wanted to say hello-I read some of your comments on Garrett and I wanted to let you know that I too am baffled. I worked in Nashville for a short while and there were great violinist everywhere out of work...GREAT ones...(we are not talking fiddle players) I was astonished at how much talent there really is out there, and so much of it is natural talent. People standing on street corners--playing in malls--playing astonishing music--IT IS HUMBLING and after such an experience one begins to see some artists as so-so and recognize what is remarkable in others
