Bill Doggett - Honky Tonk (Parts 1 and 2) Nocaro - 825 views - 4 months ago
The rock and roll era's first great instrumental hit was born in Lima, Ohio during a series of one-night stands by Bill Doggett and his Combo in 1956. Doggett had already established his jazz reputation many years before with his own band, then writing, arranging, and playing the organ for the Ink Spots, Louis Jordan, and Ella Fitzgerald. In fact, many attribute Louis Jordan's hit "Saturday Night Fish Fry" to Bill Doggett although Louis took the writing credit. As Bill would recount the origins of "Honky Tonk" years later, he said that it started out as a "little riff", and they kept adding to it as they played each night.
It remains a landmark rock recording and still today a great dance tune.

What In The World - Chernobyl Children's Project Intl cedarnsage - 1,198 views - 1 year ago
This video is made for The Chernobyl Children's Project International using Cedar-N-Sage's song "What in the World". The Chernobyl Children's Project Intl. has taken on the job to help and an awesome task it is. Check out their website:
http://chernobyl.typepad.com and donate!! Cedar-N-Sage has given this extra-ordinary charity the song "What in the World" - you can download the song from their site for 99 cents. Cedar-N-Sage is giving them 80% of each download. WHO can't spare a $1.00. That's all it takes to start a ripple!!! Daniel Andree graciously gave us permission to use his film of the Severe Days, which you can see in it's entirety on UTube, about the Chernobyl accident that happened in 1986 and continues to affect the people that still live there.

Lessons for folk blues harmonica.
About Me: I played with The Eddie Ray Rhythm And Blues Band, and The Luther Tucker Band backing artists such as Lowell Fulson, Percy Mayfield, Big Mama Thornton, Sonny Roads, Jimmy McCracklin and Sugar Pie De Santos. I Toured and recorded with Michael Bloomfield, Eric Bibb and many others. I Sing, write my own music and know many blues and folk cover tunes. I Play saxophone and harmonica. I like to play many styles of American folk music, blues, country, soul, rock n roll and funk. I have five kids that I raised or I am still raising. I love this life !!! I started playing the harmonica when I was a kid my Uncle would teach me some simple licks that I teach my students today. Later I managed to get some tips from Paul Butterfield I think I'm the only one who can make that clam,he hated to give lessons. I guess he felt obligated to help me.
I started teaching when I came to Sweden Ive been giving classes in harmonica and blues history for twenty-five years. I believe we all have a choice of what to do when things are hard or bad. It's this that makes us who we are. Do we just save our self's? Or do we sincerely help others without expecting something back ? I know its so not so easy. Some people are so afraid of not getting that they think If I can't have it nobody can. I feel like Ive helped many along their way and sometimes only get resentment back. That could be our task to not become bitter and to continue our path. Loving to play meet people and giving what we have to give. I thank all you that have showed your appreciation and to all of you that wounder about my illness.
Things look very good for a full recovery. Thank you so very much !!!
Remember give love even if you don't get much back you will feel a lot better than being bitter and suspicious.

Oh, when I say "bullshit", I mostly mean racism or other intolerant behaviour. People like that just love either telling me I'm a Muslim and therefore complicit in some international conspiracy to take over the Western world, or that I should die because my beliefs about the rights to life and freedom of ethnic minorities differ from theirs.

THAT'S the people who post on my profile. Look at their profiles (and look up "Jade Goody" on Wikipedia) and you'll see the enemies I make are actually not nice people.
Blueman2805 (6 months ago)
The only reason I appear to be making enemies is because I only call people out on their bullshit, and it's very frequent on Youtube. Spirituality is a part of that. The only reason you think I'm lonely is because I don't believe in your God.

Your prayer won't make a difference. Read the Bible - even if there is a God, you've broken at least ONE of his laws, I guarantee, and because of this, he probably hates you. It's only a matter of time before he gets bored with humanity and floods the earth for no reason again.
