Currently the solo project of Calgary's Joshua Schmelke, A Punch Of Pacifist has had comparisons to Canada's own The Great Lake Swimmers and Hayden. Originally performing in such bands as the alt-country duo Chaser and acoustic-punk of Monkey Knife Fight, Joshua decided to start performing his own songs live and solo acoustic.
