This world-famous Australian produced and directed some of the biggest live events of the decade - the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and the Doha 2006 Asian Games, the opening, closing and medal ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and the opening ceremony of the Shanghai World Expo 2010 and the Eröffnunssfeier Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand.

For his choreography for the video for the song "Sad Songs" by Elton John, David received an MTV Award.He wrote, directed and produced dozens of famous musicals around the world.
