The Dave Rawlinson Band is all about Boomers and their music. The band enjoys performing music that baby boomers love: rock, country/rock, country/western and jazz/rock styles.

Although they perform some cover material, singer/songwriter Dave Rawlinson has crafted over 40 original songs in the last four years. Additionally, the Dave Rawlinson Band has released two albums on compact disc, Workin Man (December 2006) and Movin On (March 2008). The band has recorded a third CD entitled "When She's Around". This new body of original and cover music has a decidedly "country and western feel.

Over the last two years, one of the sound engineers for the great Kittitas County Fair, who has engineered approximately 18 top-ten country songs while working in Nashville, suggested that the band was a natural for the country and western genre. Additionally, our fans have been asking us to do more of this style. So we're responding to them in a big way.

This third CD harkens back to Dave's Texas roots, with solid performances by Dave on rhythm guitar and vocals, Bob Lupton on drums, Alexandra Rawlinson on vocals, Bob Pieters on electric guitar, Brandon Brooks on electric and steel guitar, Rachel Nesvig on violin, Heather McCrostie on fiddle, Clayton Kaiser on blues harp and Caspar van Haalen on bass guitar.

Dave has written several new songs for the album, including the hit "I Never Get Hurt (Unless She's Around)." You'll love this new sound from the band, whether you're a fan of their "Boomer Rock" sound, a lover of tried and true country music, or are interested in hearing the band perform more "roots" music.
