On 5/26/08 - Golden Gate Railroad Museum, along with the Pacific Locomotive Association ran the recently restored SP 2472 on 4 round-trips through the canyon. A diesel (SP GP 9 5623) was used from Sunol to Niles, while the 2472 pulled the train back uphill on the return to Sunol. This video was put together from footage shot of the third and fourth trains that day. (less info)
