Healer's POV on Maexxna 10 man

Yet another tank&spank.

Your MT shud have Maexxna facing the opposite way of the rest of the group because it does a nasty AOE cone that hurts badly and leaves a nasty poison to anyone in front of it.

Other than that, Maexxna does 3 main things and you gotta watch that.

1st: Web Wrap its cast at the 20 second mark, and then every 40 seconds after that. Sends three players straight backwards, usually to the NE web wall, but not necessarelly (we usually ask people to ping their position on the minimap to make it easyer to find them), encasing them in a Web Wrap cocoon and incapacitating them. When encased, 650 to 850 Nature damage is done every 2 seconds. The cocoon, can be destroyed from the outside, freeing the player and causing minimal falling damage when they land. Its nice to have a hunter or a frost mage to quickly get people out of the cocoons.

2nd: Web Spray: Cast every 40 seconds incapacitating everyone for 8 seconds, and dealing 1,750 - 2,250 Nature damage. This ability cannot be resisted, and the only way to avoid it is to be dead, have Flask of Petrification, an active Divine Intervention, or be already incapacitated by Web Wrap. Healers shud be very careful about those and keep your tank TOPPED on HP before you get incapacitated. A lot of stuff can happen in this 8 secs window and your PVP trinket or Every Man for Himself will not get you out of the webs.

3rd: Necrotic Poison which reduces healing taken by 90% for 30 seconds. This needs to be cleansed IMMEDIATELLY, Abolish Poison being the most effective way to remove it during the Web Spray. Also having a shammy with a Poison cleansing totem is very handy for the web sprays too.

At last, at 30% health, Maexxna will enrage, increasing attack speed and dealing significantly more damage. Once again, healers will need to work out to get your MT always topped on HP, keep in mind that the web sprays will still be goin on.

As for the little spiders, it helps a lot to have everyone stacked close together so the OF can pull them to the group and get them AOEed down. They have 4k hp and it shud take a couple Arcane explosions or even Divine explosions to get them done.
