Salsa is perhaps one of the greatest, popular social dances and music in the world. This piece is a representation of partner dancing, rueda (salsa done in a circle - similar to square dancing) and lots of body movement.
Al igual que la musica el baile de la Salsa podria ser uno de los bailes sociales mas populares en el mundo. Esta piesa representa el baile en pareja, rueda y mucho movimiento corporal.

Huapangos is a Mexican music style with Spanish influence, most popular in the states near the Gulf of Mexico, an area also known as the Huastecas. Enriched by the culture of the region, this music is brought to life by the conjunto huasteco ensemble, comprised of three voices and three traditional instruments of the huastecas: the violin, the jarana (small guitar), and the huapanguera guitar. Huapangos not only refers to the music, but also the dances, which are performed by couples: the women adorned with flowers and birds embroidered on their multicolored quesqueme (shawl) and the men carrying their sombrero and satchel, in their pristine white shirts and pants. With this award-winning huapango piece (1st place; Bailes de mi Tierra Dances of my Homeland competition), we present a sampling of courting dances from five different states of the Huastecas: Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Tamaulipas, Veracruz and Hidalgo.
