About Shah and Blah Productions

A Bay Area Dance Theatre Company Co-Directed by Daniel Bear Davis and Sarah Day. Formed in 2004 in Massachusetts, we have been consistently dedicated to visually rich and psychicly relevant work. Our work integrates movement, text, image and sound into a reflection of the many layers of human experience. Many of the videos on this site are from our 2008 Authored Indeterminacy: Dance a Day project in which we created a new work almost daily in a small art gallery in Santa Cruz. The project was about being in a daily practice of creation. The work you see here is as raw and fresh to us as a newborn babe still messy with birth. Many of the pieces will be further developed our combined into larger pieces. Your comments are welcome.
