<b>DAFT PUNK
'ALIVE 2007'</b>

Daft Punk's amazing Live Show is released on CD on November 19th 2008.

The 'ALIVE 2007' set will be available as a single CD edition, plus a two-disc case bound book featuring the show's encore, "Harder Better Faster Stronger (Live)" video and about 50 pages of pictures taken during the shows.

The live version of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" will also be issued as a single, along with a video, directed by Oliver Gondry that will feature footage shot by fans at the tour closer in Brooklyn on August 9.

"It is a montage of people shooting the song in the audience with 250 cameras," Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter says. "We were inspired by the Beastie Boys' 'Awesome, I F***in' Shot That!' and tried to do that in a four-minute video."

After the phenomenal reaction to their live shows Daft Punk have slated some extra dates: The band will touch down in the US on October 27 to perform at Las Vegas' Vegoose Festival. The duo will then be heading to Japan and Australia in December.

After such a long hiatus from playing live, the group admits it was blown away by the response to the shows, "We pretty much felt it everywhere, which was fascinating," Bangalter says. "It was a big deal each time. It's a big deal for us each time, too, which is what keeps it fresh."

Hardest, Best, Fastest, Strongest Live Album Ever! (or at least since Alive 1997).

<b>DAFT PUNK 'ALIVE 2007'
(Virgin/EMI)</b>

DAFT PUNK GRAMMY COLLABORATION OF "STRONGER" MARKS THEIR FIRST EVER TELEVISION PERFORMANCE
February 10th

SURPRISE PERFORMANCE OF "STRONGER" MARKS DAFT PUNK'S FIRST EVER TV PERFORMANCE IN THEIR 14 YEAR HISTORY. DAFT PUNK AND KANYE WEST PERFORMED AN ORIGINAL VERSION OF "STRONGER" THAT THEY CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE EVENT.

The iconic and critically acclaimed French duo Daft Punk made a surprise appearance at the 50th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night. For their first ever television performance, they teamed up with Kanye West to perform his 2007 smash hit "Stronger", which samples the group's 2001 single "Harder Better Faster Stronger" from their landmark album Discovery. For the Grammy Awards, Daft Punk and Kanye West performed an original version of "Stronger" they created specifically for this event, marking Daft Punk's only television performance in the 14 year history of the band.

2007 found Daft Punk more relevant than ever - both critically and commercially. The duo redefined the scope of their career through a mind-blowing live show that toured internationally, followed by the theatrical release of their directorial film debut Daft Punk's Electroma, and the release of their live album Alive 2007- all to overwhelming accolades from fans and critics alike. The year culminated into a cover shared with Kanye West for SPIN magazine.
