Seeing what I saw caused me to feel this fierceness I'm not accustomed to rise up within me. I felt the wretched heat of anger building up, just this emotion and shock to the system was enough to almost force me into action, but I'm in far more control than that. I clenched my fists and grit my teeth containing this rage, when suddenly I felt numb and cold all over, as if I was in a dream and falling numbly down a hole.

Everything seemed so difficult to focus on, then all of a sudden there was nothing to focus on. I felt this terrible pain in my eyes as if they had not only be burned out but been scorched and destroyed permanently. Dear god help me! I cried knowing full well there was neither a person in ear shot or a person in the world who cared. My eyes burnt like the fires of ten thousand neutron stars on the brink of total collapse. The heat seemed to be slowly seeping to the rest of my body, if I even had a body, I felt the heat coat me completely. I felt my internal organs bake, my skin turn to leather, and my finger nails twist like a tough cracker. I can't see a fucking thing! That's the last thing I said, or at least thought I said as reality slipped away under my pillow. As if the tooth fairy would even give a shit.
