In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan, armed with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to do an interview about peace. 38 years later, Jerry has produced a film about it. Using the original interview recording as the soundtrack, director Josh Raskin has woven a visual narrative which tenderly romances Lennon's every word in a cascading flood of multipronged animation. Raskin marries the terrifyingly genius pen work of James Braithwaite with masterful digital illustration by Alex Kurina, resulting in a spell-binding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit, and timeless message.

Bob Beckel leaks out the truth about Barack Obama and Iraq. It's what I've always known to be the truth about Obama's future Iraq Policy; He will do what he thinks is best when the time comes. He will; pull all, some, or almost all of our troops out, as I said, he will do what he thinks is right when the time comes. He proved my theory when he just lately refused to take public financing for his campaign, he does what is best for himself at the present time no matter what he has said in the past.
I'm not saying that this is necessarily wrong, I'm just saying that the Liberals had better be ready for some real disappointments when Obama inevitability starts to compromise on nearly all of his campaign promises, after all, is just another Politician.

(CNSNews.com) - At a speech in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) echoed Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who decried oil speculators early this week on the campaign trail.
"Fairness also requires that we reform the oil futures market," McCain said during a speech that his campaign is billing as part of the presumptive GOP presidential candidate's "comprehensive plan for energy security."
"We must purge the market of the reckless speculation, unrelated to any kind of productive commerce, that has inflated the price of gasoline -- at the expense of working men and women across our country," McCain said. "With new regulations, I intend to assure integrity in oil-futures trading, and to protect the public interest."
McCain has been touting his energy plan on a swing through Western states this week, before returning for a town hall-style meeting in Pipersville, Penn., on Monday. The campaign also announced that McCain will travel to South America next week to meet with Colombian President Alvaro URIBE Velez.
