I just finished watching Della Reese Honoring Tennessee Ernie Ford, what a BLESSING.On PBS in Dallas they would rerun all the TEF T.V. shows. I would make sure I was home by 7 p.m. from work, watch Guy Lombardo, then TEF, the reruns of the Red Skelton Show. I truly LOVE TEF singing Gospel. "Ken Curtis and his golden voice" turned out to be the voice of the late, great tenor of the Sons of the Pioneers Lloyd Perryman and not Ken Curtis at all. I could listen to Lloyd sing all night, but he should get credit for his own golden voice.
