Railroading is not just about trains, railroading is about the experience of it all. No matter if you are a conductor, locomotive engineer, brakeman, track maintainer, signal maintainer, dispatcher, whatever. No matter what you do or what you are on the railroad, you help keep that railroad running. Railfans may seem to be a nuisance to some of our father railroaders of this country, but actually we stand ready to take on their positions when it is time for them to step down, since they will have fufilled their duty on the rails. Theyve had their run and now are through. Railfans should not be intemidated due to unforunate circumstances that have occured in the past years. There is difference between the good and the bad among railfans. The good help promote railroads and assist them if trouble arises. The bad are the ones who think they know it all and will end up falling and NEVER work for a railroad, because they will be known to have a bad reputation and have no business to be with any railroad. As any railfan, we develop knowledge over time of railroading, but we DO NOT know it all. When it comes our turn, we need to let our Senior Railroaders show us the way we need to follow. As their fathers of railroading showed them.

We must stand together united. The railroads of this country depend on us, ONLY when the time comes! We shall abolish the ANTI-RAIL, we shall rise when we our called into duty for there are trains to run, tracks and signals to maintain, and locomotives to be built. We will show this country what we can do, but only when the time is right.

When that day comes, we shall rise together and God, Lord himself, will watch over us as we guide our trains across the rails of this country.

When that day comes, I will look up to the heavens of God and thank him for helping me to get here in life and ask him to not only watch over me, but also my brothers of the railroads as we run the railroads like they should be. As railfans united, we lucky few,
