Critic1936 a.k.a. WSMTVcritic (Alan Nelson)

Alan Nelson retired from the Gaylord Entertainment Company's cable networks division as senior writer/producer administrative communications. He wrote music specials for TNN, PBS and Nashville's WSM TV. He was also the local station's film critic. As producer of TNN's USO specials series he traveled a circuit of 26 countries. Nelson is a Grammy and regional emmy nominee. He's a native of Wytheville, Virginia and longtime Nashville resident.
