It has been ten years since Craig David burst onto the UK music scene with the 1999 crossover single Rewind, which became UK garages signature tune, and one of the biggest hits of the year. By the spring of the following year, hed firmly landed as a solo star with the No. 1 smash Fill Me In. And in the summer of 2000, we knew for sure that this was no lucky one-off, when he delivered the consecutive No. 1 7 Days, along with what became the multi-platinum debut album Born To Do It.

As Craig Davids career evolved, his list of hit singles continued to grow: Walking Away, Rendezvous, Whats Your Flava? and his duet with Sting Rise & Fall to name but a few, all reaching the top ten in the UK singles chart.

With his bestselling 2nd album Slicker Than Your Average in 2002, followed by Top 10 platinum collection The Story Goes in 2005, Craig was a household name. Fourth album Trust Me released in 2007 cemented Craigs staying power, producing Hot Stuff (Lets Dance) which powered into the higher reaches of the charts. Craigs Greatest Hits, released in 2008, highlighted what an incredible decade it has been for the 27 year old, with more than 13 million album sales and 13 UK top 10 singles to date.

Declaring the proudest moment of his career so far being when he arrived at Wembley Arena to find that hed sold out three consecutive nights, Craig David has also lifted numerous industry awards: three Ivor Novello Awards (including the two highly prestigious awards for Songwriter Of The Year and Best Contemporary Song), four MOBOs (one for Best UK Act) and two MTV Europe Music Awards.

2008 was also a year of many achievements for Craig outside of the UK music scene. Following an unforgettable experience with Jack Osbourne in Mexico filming Adrenaline Junkie, he was awed to return to Wembley playing on the hallowed turf of the Stadium at Unicefs Soccer Aid, where he was named Man Of The Match. And with an Honorary Doctorate in Music from Southampton Solent University under his belt, Craig Davids future is bright as he begins recording in 2009 his 5th studio album.
