Bold. Talented. Raw. Exciting. Real. Those are the words that describe up-and-coming, Atlanta-based Rap artist Cool Water. After polishing his writing and rapping skills, "Cool Water" moved to Atlanta to become established in the music industry. Cool Water is a rap artist whose dynamic vocal ability and creative writing style has him anxious to show the world the true meaning of hip-hop. His strong, dominant voice indicates that he puts his heart and soul into every song. "I want people to respect what I have to say as opposed to prejudging. Rapping is what I love to do." He is the oldest of four kids. Even though Cool Water grew up in poverty he never let that hinder his dreams. He managed to stay strong and seek out the positives in life. Throughout his school years, playing basketball was his passion. He hoped to receive a basketball scholarship to Alabama State University and go on to play professional basketball. However, his dreams were shattered after he didn't receive a scholarship. It was then that he began to concentrate on finding his purpose in life. Although basketball was his first love, it wasn't long before he realized that he had a special talent for music and a desire to be a part of the entertainment industry. As a kid he always felt he was going to be a star in the world of entertainment. While in college he found himself performing at Apollo night at Top Flight nightclub, and various venues on the campus of Alabama State University. He also packed the Acadome in Montgomery, Alabama with a crowd of over 3,000. He has also performed at various venues in Atlanta, to include Club Flavors (in concert-television), Club 112, The Sweet Auburn Fest and The Village Hut. Cool Water has been rapping for several years. Cool Water simply shines on his tracks titled, "You Better Buy a Gun," "Unlucky Lotto" and "My Next Door Neighbor." His musical influences include Ice Cube, Alanis Morrisette, Lenny Kravitz, Isley Brothers, Quincy Jones, Russell Simmons, 50cent,T.I, and others. A native of Ohio, he received his Bachelor's degree in Education from Alabama State University. Cool Water is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. As you can see he is one to keep your eyes on. Grit your teeth and hold on to your seat and check out the tasty flavor of Cool Water.

Ra or Re, in ancient Egyptian mythology, sun god depicted with a human body and the head of a hawk. Ra was usually considered the creator and controller of the universe, his chief symbols being the sun disk and the obelisk. Originally a local cult, the worship of Ra first became widespread during the Old Kingdom in Egypt. The chief temple of Ra was at the city of Heliopolis, which became an important center when the cult was adopted as a state religion. Ra later became associated with other important deities, particularly Amon and Horus.

Amon or Ammon (Egyptian, hidden), ancient Egyptian deity, originally a local Theban god of reproductive forces, represented as a ram. Amon, his wife, Mut (Egyptian, the mother), and his son, the moon god Khon (Egyptian, to traverse the sky), formed the divine triad of Thebes. Later Amon was identified with the sun god Ra of Heliopolis, and was known as Amon-Ra, the father of the gods, the fashioner of men, the creator of cattle, the lord of all being. As a universal god he became the god of the Egyptian nation and the empire. The power of his high priest rivaled that of the pharaoh, provoking political problems similar to modern church-state rivalry. The most massive temple ever built was constructed for Amon-Ra at El-Karnak. Amon was worshiped in the ancient Greek colonies of Cyrene, where he was identified with Zeus, and in Rome, where he was associated with Jupiter.

Wang Lang captured the Mantis and returned home. Having built a cage for his new friend, he decided to study its movements. Using chop sticks, Wang Lang spent much of his time battling with his tiny opponent, and very carefully watched to see which actions the Mantis would take to defend itself. Wang Lang took these techniques and incorporated them into his training. Using these new techniques, Wang Lang trained even harder. Once again he returned to the temple.

The monks recognized Wang Lang and agreed to let him fight. Once again he faced the head abbot, but this time was victorious. The monks were perplexed by the strange new form of fighting. The monks could not let Wang Lang leave until they too learned these techniques. Wang Lang did not want to stay so he left in the night.

Wang Lang returned home and continued training. Although his Praying Mantis techniques were very effective, Wang Lang realized a large part of his failure in the first fight with the head abbot was due to a lack of footwork. Carefully looking for the stepping techniques needed to complete his system, Wang Lang discovered the fast and deceptive footwork of the Monkey. He decided to incorporate the footwork of the Monkey into his style. Wang Lang spent the rest of his life further refining his Praying Mantis techniques until it was considered one of the most effective and fierce Martial Art styles that had ever been seen. To this day, Praying Mantis Masters are still refining the art to keep is just as effective as it was over 300 years ago.
