I'm Alex Mitchell, an experimental electric violinist with a love for looping and delay; I'll periodically be uploading various videos of my live performances.
I play my own eclectic style of alternative violin based around the concept of looping; I use a looper pedal to make backup tracks on the fly, so all of my performances and recordings are completely live. I also run the violin through various crazy effects to make sounds that really ought not to be made with the violin. After these videos started getting popular, I recorded an album that's available on iTunes; check out my website for a ton more information. Thanks for listening!

Tsanalretentive: I haven't given up, quite the contrary - things have never been better. I've been playing a ton of shows lately but I've just never brought the camera along, I keep forgetting.
