This is an off-ride video of the infamous Hercules (now defunct) rollercoaster at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. The coaster was the tallest wooden rollercoaster in the world when it opened in May of 1989. It still ranked among the top 3 tallest wooden coasters in the world upon its raizing in 2003. The video was transferred from VHS to DVD but I can't figure out how to get it from the DVD onto here so i filmed on my camera phone while it was playing on my tv. I uploaded the video because there are no videos at all of this coaster during its first few years of operation before they slowed the ride down in the mid 90's. This video is great at depicting how fast the ride used to go. Everyone complains about how slow the ride was (especially during the last turn). This video just goes to show the true coaster that was built and how fast it was.
